Dr. Margaret Bullen is the 2018 visiting professor as Boise State’s Eloise Garmendia Bieter chair. This chair was established in an agreement between the Etxepare Basque Institute/Basque Government and Boise State University, which allows for a visiting professor to come to campus to teach in the graduate program. She is the author of Basque Gender Studies, published by the Center for Basque Studies at the University of Nevada, Reno, and has taught for many years including with the University Studies Abroad Consortium (USAC).
She will be participating in a community presentation at the Basque Museum “Changing the Gender of Basque Festivals,” then teaching a weekend graduate workshop on “Gender and Identity: the Basque Case.”
We wish here well on her stay in Boise!
